Habitat for Humanity of Gallup

We build quality low cost housing with qualified hard working people in the Gallup community who normally could not afford a home of their own. Only as a community can we work together to build an ongoing line of Habitat for Humanity Houses in Gallup.

History

Habitat for Humanity of Gallup was incorporated on October 1, 2001. Our first groundbreaking was in August 2002 and the first home was dedicated on September 25, 2003. Groundbreaking for the second home was held on September 19, 2004, with the home dedicated on June 29, 2006. Our third groundbreaking was held on March 25, 2007 and the home was dedicated on December 21, 2008. On May 10, 2009 we held our fourth groundbreaking and dedicated the home on October 2, 2010.

Our goal is to complete at least one house per year without breaks between projects.
