Santa Fe, N.M. – Cabinet Secretary Alicia J. Keyes of the New Mexico Economic Development Department announced that state economist Jon Clark will serve as Deputy Cabinet Secretary.
Clark has been with the Legislative Finance Committee since 2012 and has been instrumental in analyzing state revenue trends, tax changes and investments. He has also served as a business development manager and helped bring new jobs to the state with the New Mexico Partnership.
Keyes said Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is working on strategic investments to diversify the economy and Clark’s expertise is more important than ever as the state looks to make decisions based on hard data.
