GGEDC Attends Nuclear in New Mexico Conference
23 Apr 2026
From April 20 to 22, GGEDC attended the inaugural Nuclear in New Mexico Conference hosted by the Clean Energy Association of New Mexico at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa.
The event brought together experts and community leaders to explore how New Mexico is uniquely positioned to lead in clean energy, driven by its uranium resources and deep industry expertise.
Community-Conscious Nuclear Energy Development
One key focus was engaging tribal and local communities to help shape a responsible “nuclear renaissance” — one that acknowledges past impacts, prioritizes community voices, and works to prevent future harm while supporting environmentally friendly energy development.
