Press Release: N.M. Delegation Welcomes Over $33 Million for Upgrades at Airports Across New Mexico

Upgrades include completing a new terminal at Clovis Regional Airport, runway improvements atABQ Sunport, and more
WASHINGTON — U.S. Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.), U.S. Representatives Teresa Leger Fernández (D-N.M.), Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.), and Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.) are welcoming $33,494,691from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for upgrades at airports across New Mexico.
This federal funding includes grants from the Infrastructure Law — legislation passed by Democrats in the N.M. Congressional Delegation — including $15.7 million to fully fund a new 21,000-square-foot terminal at the Clovis Regional Airport (CVN) and nearly $2.5 million for a project to reconstruct a taxiway at Raton Municipal Airport (RTN).
