Launched last fall, the University of New Mexico's master of science in information sciences and assurance has graduated 24 students. The program is attracting the likes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies that are interested in recruiting graduates for jobs in cybersecurity, data analytics and more.
According to the program's director, Steve Burd, not only has the program had 100 percent job placement, but enrollment is set to double this fall.
