We Have an Oil History in Gallup

Gallup has a long history with energy production and there is a great deal of potential in Gallup for the oil and natural gas business. We have the history to back this up. Since 1927 over 27.5 million barrels of oil, and 6.9 billion cubic feet of gas have been produced in Gallup.
Located near the San Juan basin, Gallup is already a major producer of natural gas in the United States. When looking to the future, we are keenly aware of the capacity we have for economic prosperity with oil and natural gas. Our infrastructure is designed to grow the oil and natural gas production in the immediate future, creating a natural hub for businesses that support the oil and natural gas to flourish.
