Medical Care at a Manageable Pace
June 5, 2017
If you are a doctor, nurse or medical professional that wants to treat patients in an environment that is personal, rather than rushed, consider working at the Crownpoint Health Care Facility. Located off Highway 57, in Crownpoint, New Mexico on the western edge of the Navajo reservation, it is only a few hour’s drive away from Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The facility services the region of McKinley County and a population of roughly 20,000 Navajo Nation peoples.
On average, the staff of physicians, physician’s assistants, and nurses only see around nine patients a day, so you have the opportunity to really get to know your patients. The facility is an excellent opportunity for doctors and nurses who want to hone their skills at a more natural pace. There are no surgeries on-site, and the Crownpoint Health Care Facility is supported by the Gallup Indian Medical Center.
