Oil Refinery in Gallup
May 8, 2017
In keeping with our long history with the oil and natural gas industry, the Gallup refinery is located on 880 acres in McKinley County. The refinery produces approximately 23,000 barrels each day. This helps to make New Mexico one of the leading producers of oil and natural gas in the country. With the demand for energy growing across the country, the need for services supporting Gallup’s oil production is also increasing.
The Gallup refinery produces a number of products that are increasingly in high demand as American’s turn inward for their energy needs. The refinery produces gasoline, diesel, propane, butane, and heavy fuel oils. Each of these facilitates opportunity for growth, development, and business both in the oil and natural gas support fields and other services that the people who work at the refinery need. As business opportunities develop around the oil and natural gas industries, they also provide opportunities for supporting business to grow.
